Senior Program Manager, NVEG PE

As the Program Manager under NVEG PE PDTL organization, you own the key tasks in facilitating PE organization in business operation spectrum such as capital planning, global office space and lab planning as well as part of a local team support on PE key events for example All Leader Meeting, All Hands Meeting etc. You will be an individual contributor and expected to work independently with an analytical mindset over routine work. 

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly capital (Capex and OCAP) planning and Opex review process

Capital planning

Facilitate the monthly capital review process for Micron’s Non-Volatile Engineering Group (NVEG) Product Engineering (PE). Define, sustain, and continually improve the processes to enable the budgeting, funding, savings and GR/cash flow compliance of Micron’s NVEG PE.

Provide support and technical expertise to the various stakeholders to deliver an effective capital request to the management teams for approval.

Collaborate with respective functional capital manager to ensure use case and justification are considered before the commitment of any new capital expenditures, and identify opportunities for capital optimization.

Provide waterfall chart to explain the variance as compare to the last reported

Act as a liaison between the PE functional capital managers and GEL Finance, to establish and enforce business processes for a sustained and effective capital cycle, and help resolve conflicts as and when required.

Reconcile GEL Finance data against internal capital plan tracking list 

Opex Review

Provide budget proposal for next financial year accordance to the management guidance

Collaborate with General Finance in reconciling PE Opex (operating expenditures) transactions accuracy

Report P2P (performance to plan) and provide data driven guidance to the management on concerning trends or opportunities of cost optimization 

Lab Planning

Collaborate with PE teams and GEL in executing lab plan per management guidance 

Formulate lab equipment optimization plan in balancing various lab locations accordance to the available local resources and cost structure

Office Planning & Support

Collaborate with corresponding site facility teams or PMO in deriving and execution of the office plan

Maintain PE sharepoint and critical resource valve for PE senior management quick assess and reference

Support as a team in preparing quarterly material/comm for All Hand Meeting, All People Leaders, monthly newsletter, thank you and culture champion nomination & selection etc

Requirements :

Masters/Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering with relevant working experience of at least 10 years would be an added advantage

Strong verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a team environment

Strong data validation skills and reporting skills

Strong ability to perform data analysis and problem solving

Ability to map relevant conclusions to support decisions making

Believer of change is the only constant 

Knowledge and practical application of capital planning with awareness on various engineering equipment use model

Independence and high determination to complete tasks in a timely manner
