Senior Program Manager
Senior Program Manager   Job Description Summary:    D&G is seeking an exceptional Senior Program Manager in support of the Defense Logistics Agency Small Business Innovation Program (SBIP). This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a dynamic multi-functional team working with a wide range of technologies and vendors and a growing company with proven success supporting DLA.   Roles & Responsibilities:   + Supervises a team of project leads responsible for managing a wide range of technical and research and development projects in support of DLA’s SBIP. Serves as the deputy to the DLA PM in representing DLA SBIP program at various reviews and events. + Oversees technical reviews of R&D projects for groundbreaking and innovative ideas to develop and/or re-engineer critical end items, supplies and parts for DoD’s deployed weapon systems + Lead for ensuring the entire team is knowledgeable of and executing programs IAW the current OSD, DoD and DLA SBIP policies, directives, and program guidance + Supports the development of a wide variety of program public affairs and marking product to include briefings, marketing flyers, white papers, and other written communication products. + Manages the overall SBIP Communications Strategy and schedule to include representation and messaging to Federal, Commercial and Academia Forums. Requirements:   + Bachelor’s degree. + 7 years of experience in a SBIP program office or similar program office responsible for R&D/SBIP type projects.  Eligibility Requirements:   + Clearance- DoD Secret- TS Preferred. Additional Requirements: This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))    Desired Skills:   + Experience leading SBIP type programs and/or Research and Development projects. + Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between the Government Program Manager, DoD Functional and Technical Managers, Industry, and SBIR/STTR companies. + Demonstrated capability to develop project plans and oversee the cost, schedule and performance of small businesses executing SBIP projects. + Experience working with industry small business and/or industry R&D vendors. + Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. + Demonstrated experience developing PowerPoint presentations.  Location:    Remote. Occasion travel to DLA HQ Ft Belvoir, VA, industry forums and/or work locations.
