Senior Program Manager

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks within the assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial activities and operational efficiencies. The Senior Program Manager is typically responsible for managing specific large scale programs, initiatives, delivery, subordinates, and support personnel while overseeing multiple projects and tasks for the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Leads the development and execution of the strategy to design and deliver the program/project within required scope, time and cost + Utilizes project management tools and processes to lead and manage planning, integrated change control, program oversight, risk, and execution + Supervises program/contract personnel as well as other program/project team members, including subordinate managers + Oversees personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluations + Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives + Responsible for profitability and financial growth of assigned program area + Ensures quality of service deliverables + Analyzes established protocol practices and identifies areas of improvement + Ensures compliance with contract requirements and governing policies, as applicable + Serves as an active participant in the proposal development and solutions architecture process + Responsible for internal and external stakeholder management + Develops various program status reports and presents to senior management + Performs other duties as assigned/necessary Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree in a related field + Minimum 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred + Knowledge of a broad range of concepts related to effective supervision, staff administration and Human Resources. + Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required + Computer proficiency required + Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Medical/Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Advocacy (company paid if enrolled Medical), Health Advocate Employee Assistance Program, Health Savings Account , 401(k), 401(k) Company Match, Profit Sharing, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Primary Caregiver Leave, Parental Leave, Life and Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Voluntary Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Hospital Expense Protection Plan, Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Home and Auto Insurance, Pet Insurance, MilkStork, Transportation Benefit, Educational Assistance Program, College Partnership Program, Paid Time Off/Company Holidays *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
