**This is a Part-Time, as needed, position**
Seeking the services of a Communications / Marketing Analyst to manage all communications distributed to the agency IT community. This resource would be responsible for drafting key communications and reviewing communications drafted by other organizational units prior to issuance. The resource would be responsible for ensuring all communications are drafted in a similar manner, with a similar tone and context. It is not essential for this resource to have a strong IT background.
Responsibilities
• Establish procedures for a formal review process for communications issued by the state CIO.
• Review all communications prior to issuance to ensure content and tone of messages are consistent.
• Develop communications for the Commonwealth CIO on an as needed basis.
• Ensure communications best practices are being adhered to for major IT initiatives within OIT; ensure communications plans are developed and being adhered to.
• Assist by providing ideas related to content used on internal websites.
• Provide ideas/suggestions related to innovative ways to use Social Media within the organization.
