Senior Program Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Program Manager for a Design and Construction Project in the NY Metro area. The Project is a Multi Property Design and Construction Project for a major financial services client. This is a great opportunity to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Drive portfolio governance project tracking based on needs and business requirements of the stakeholder(s), ensuring that the project ultimately achieves the stated strategic objective.

Manage comprehensive communication plans, ensuring that all partners are informed at the optimal times for projects throughout the portfolio.

Govern the development of a charter, specific project requirements and integrated timeline for projects across all external partners and regions.

Facilitate weekly meetings to review project status and risks for the global portfolio of work.

Collaborate with core design and delivery team to develop solutions related scope, schedule, design, and risk management that are reported on a weekly basis.

Build and maintain effective client relationships to ensure consistent, high-level services and communications with client leaders to minimize escalations and drive improvements in client satisfaction.

Provide consultation and ensure the delivery of the capital and operational plan through resource forecasting, cash flow, and schedule management across the portfolio. 

Partner with cost estimators, project managers, facilities, internal delivery partners and real-estate team to manage delivery of the client's planned work. 

Leverage establish PMO best practices and implement improvements in existing practices, through the creation of workflows, tools, and playbooks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a closely related field is highly preferred.

Minimum eight years of related experience in consulting or professional service is required.

PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

Strong process skills, decision-making and organizational skills are necessary.

Demonstrated ability in program management processes, tools and techniques.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SmartSheet. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.

Knowledge of project management software programs (eg: Kahua, Procore, OVP, Autodesk).

Able to articulate challenges/opportunities to senior leadership in a clear and concise way while providing a path forward. 

Have a strong understanding of corporate office spaces, design governance, strategic planning, cost management. capital planning, technology and reporting.

Have a growing technical competency in many of the project controls service offerings such as Project set up, construction technology, procure to pay, project, cost & commercial managing, schedule control, risk management, project close-out.
