What does a Senior Program Manager do at Hogarth?
The Senior Program Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of a production team, acting as a liaison between the production leadership and various departments, ensuring projects are completed on time by managing schedules, coordinating resources, identifying potential issues, and facilitating communication to keep production running efficiently; essentially supporting the production team by handling day-to-day operational tasks and strategic planning within the content production department. This role will report into the Director of Content Production.
Key responsibilities:
Project Management: Tracking project progress, identifying potential bottlenecks, and proactively addressing issues. Managing project timelines and resource allocation. Coordinating with different departments to ensure seamless project execution. Creating dashboard to track and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes using Tableau. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency. Communication and Collaboration: Facilitating communication between production teams, department heads, and senior leadership. Keeping stakeholders updated on project status and any necessary changes. Managing meeting agendas, taking notes, and distributing action items. Operational Support: Managing production schedules and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing production budgets. Strategic Planning: Assisting in developing production strategies and goals aligned with overall company objectives. Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans. Continually looks for ways to enhance productivity through process improvements, task automation, and new technology. Facilitate relationships between external and internal partners, ensuring up-to-date information is communicated. Plan, manage and track studio initiatives throughout the production process to facilitate accurate and timely delivery. Ability to organize information quickly, at high and detailed levels. Solid understanding and command of project management tools. Flexibility in accommodating rapid change and capacity to learn quickly. Proven effectiveness when working under pressure. Facility for communicating effectively from one-on-one to large groups. Appreciation for the creative process and skilled at working with creative teams. Knowledge and experience with design and production processes. Experience tracking and prepping deliverables for localization. Ability to make sound decisions, think strategically, focus on detail, problem solve, multi-task, and have an excellent memory. Must possess exceptional organization, time management, excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize. Remains current on technology and trends in function. Ability to work with global teams and adapt to cultural differences. Handle day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production challenges Lead a team focused on certain product lines or initiatives, ensuring resource efficiencies and communication in the team Performance management and career development for CPMs in the respective podRequirements:
Requires a minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management, design, or a related field. Solid understanding of production processes and workflows Solid understanding of file specifications; resolution, color space and other technical requirements of assets needed for image reproduction, motion graphics and/or video production. Experience using the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in project management or content management systems such as Wrike, JIRA, Basecamp, Trello, or similar software. Proficiency in Mac OS software and operating systems. Previous agency experience specifically working on global brands preferred. Previous experience in digital, print, or video production preferred. This position requires a self-motivated, flexible individual with strong project management skills, along with and communication and interpersonal skills.
