Summary\r

 

The Sr. Program Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the Mobility/IoT/Billing portfolio, driving quality and cost reduction initiatives, and leading automation in the value stream to achieve cost reductions. This role is responsible for ensuring project success throughout the complete lifecycle, from opportunity identification to transition to operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, technical expertise, and strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities\r

 

Lead a team of Project Delivery Managers to deliver projects successfully through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion, adherence to business and technical requirements, and compliance with agreed budgets. Provide coaching, direction, and expertise to Project Delivery Managers, empowering them to effectively manage day-to-day project activities. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, building confidence in project success through proactive management and alignment of project plans. Ensure adherence to corporate requirements, standards, and best practices to deliver projects efficiently and effectively to clients. Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve the highest level of quality within committed timelines and scope, meeting all project requirements and deliverables.Drive improvements in project efficiency and performance by tracking project quotation and spending, implementing new systems, tools, and techniques. Manage the Mobility/IoT/Billing portfolio, overseeing reporting and KPI improvements in that space. Spearhead quality and cost reduction initiatives in the transformation space, particularly in improving intake of work from Large Solution Train level into the Agile Release Train level for delivery. Lead automation efforts in the value stream to optimize processes and achieve cost reductions.Critical Qualifications\r

 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing (preferred). Proven experience in project management, specifically managing large-scale complex deployments and ideally with the SAFe Agile methodology. Valid PMP certificate (preferred) and excellent project management skills in identifying and managing risks and issues. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Development, Networking or Billing project environments Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to effectively influence internal project teams and customer stakeholders. Ability to develop clear and concise project management collaterals to facilitate decisions at the executive level. Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, with a proven track record of success. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines. Robust analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and generating insights and actions. Experience in delivering an integrated risk management program or solution. Self-sufficient and adaptable, with a strong ability to drive and respond to changes effectively. Talent for motivating and inspiring others, promoting team spirit and employee valuesExperience managing budgets and providing guidance to others on cost containment.Proficiency in English and French is desired.
