Job DescriptionAs the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our design-build projects. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex design-build projects in an Owner's Representative role on a highly complex mega project program.
The Deputy Program Manager will report to the Program Manager for Construction and will work with the on-site project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the overall project execution of our design-build initiatives, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements.Collaborate with the design-build team to develop and implement efficient project plans and strategies.Oversee administrative functions including design-builder’s adherence to the design-build agreement, contract performance monitoring, review of payment requisitions, and maintenance of project schedules and budget projections.Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records and documentation.Review design-builder change orders, while maintaining budget integrity and producing accurate financial reports.Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships by offering consistent updates. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all project sites and operations.Provide on-site leadership and guidance to the project team in the challenging construction environment of New York City.Travel within the 4 boroughs of NYC; Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field + 10 years of experience in construction projects of various complexity, including 2 years in a leadership role.Preferred Qualifications:
15 years of experience in construction projects, including 7 years in a leadership capacity.Experience interfacing with NYC agencies with jurisdiction.Track record of successfully leading large-scale high rise construction projects using traditional and design-build project delivery methods.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build relationships and foster a collaborative work environment.Proficiency in construction management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with working as a Consultant (Owner’s Representative role) and/or Contractor (Project Manager or greater role).Additional InformationSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.About AECOM
