Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) - Business and Risk & Opportunity to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

What You Will Do

Provide leadership, direction, and proposal management on the Task Orders (TO) proposal activities

Work with functional leaders within the matrixed organization

Coordinate/deconflict execution schedules

Interact with customers on reporting needs

Manage Risk and Opportunity (R&O) updates

Maintain excellent customer relationships and respond to customer actions/requests in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner

Interface with program team to implement contractual requirements and ensure production efforts remain on time and within budget

Work with the Program Management Office and Functional leads to implement and drive closure of corrective actions as warranted

Prepare for customer program reviews and customer visits 

Deploy disciplined program management best practices, processes, and resources to achieve effective implementation of program requirements 

Travel to participate in domestic business engagements, as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10 years of relevant experience in Program Management or a relevant discipline such as Project Management, Material Program Management, Cost Account Manager (CAM) or Integrated Product Team Lead, etc

Earned Value Management (EVM) / Control Account Management experience

Experience with proposal management to include Basis of Estimate (BOE) writer, reviewer and approve

Experience leading cross-functional teams

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources

An active and transferable TS/SCI level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

(CI Poly will be required )

Qualifications We Prefer

Thorough strategic thinking, analytical, and program management skills

Ability to comfortably lead consultative sessions and out-briefs with senior leadership

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and interface in multiple complex environments 

Experience leading out-briefs to all levels of management and stakeholders

Exceptional team player, with the confidence and integrity to quickly earn the confidence of peers, company leaders, individual contributors, and subcontractor teammates

Positive self-starter with initiative and drive and must possess a commitment to excellence, creating and delivering highest value across the mission area 

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills necessary to ensure action plans are credible and executable

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
