Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Director of Occupational Safety and Physical Security, the Sr. Program Manager of Occupational Safety is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing key elements of the organization’s safety, health, and environmental programs, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace for all employees. This role manages safety policies, training, risk assessment processes, and vendor contracts while driving a safety culture and continuous organizational improvement.
The Sr. Program Manager will collaborate with leadership teams across shared services and site leadership to establish and achieve safety goals, monitor regulatory compliance, and deliver effective safety training programs. This role also supports occupational safety, physical security, environment of care, and safety regulatory compliance, focusing on improving operational safety performance and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications Educational requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Hospitality Services, or a related field.Completion of Joint Commission Environment of Care Base Camp or related experience.Completion of Joint Commission Life Safety Base Camp or related experience.Required Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management, with a proven track record of success.Extensive experience managing complex safety and environmental programs within a large organization.In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission or DNV, and CARF standards.
