Senior Program Ops Manager, Amazon Global Selling - PMO
Description Amazon Global Selling (AGS) has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon’s total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally. The Role The Central Product & Program Management Office (PMO) collaborates with AGS business teams and many of Amazon’s global teams to empower high-growth global selling, continuously uncover new opportunities, and spearhead new initiatives to drive seller growth and success. We are looking for a talented, highly-organized, and self-motivated program operations manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of high-impact projects. The program operations manager will play a critical role in formulating and implementing operation process to support new product/program launch, reviewing existing process to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline, and rolling out new tools to increase productivity and scale automation. Key Responsibilities - Lead high-visibility, complex programs that span multiple business units and geographies - Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders to pilot/scale new business initiatives to sellers and internal teams - Develop and manage operational plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of program initiatives - Analyze and solve operational barriers affecting program delivery, with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency - Monitor progress and performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and derive insights to renovate existing processes or promptly implement enhancements to new processes - Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve conflicts at senior levels of the organization, maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders to provide regular updates on program status and milestones Personal Attributes and Competencies - Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex programs with significant business impact through seasoned project and operations management skills - Possess strong problem-solving abilities, employing a methodical and structured approach to navigate complex challenges - Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions in rapidly changing environments - Excel in communication, effectively engaging with local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration - High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously - Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding our products, operations, and sellers - Act like an owner, a strong team player, and ultimately focus on delivering results with high standards Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in program/project management, business operations or related fields - Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred - Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to make data-driven decisions - Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects methodically and effectively in a fast-paced environment - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English - Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems/tools, and data analytics - Exceptional customer obsession with a passion for working backwards from the needs of field or organizations - Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels Preferred Qualifications - Experience in e-Commerce and/or in a hi-tech B2B sales organization - Track record of implementing innovative solutions that have resulted in significant business growth or operational efficiency Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
