Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - $94,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to act in the capacity as a technical liaison / consultant with internal business or support partners to develop and implement solutions that meet their strategic business or operational needs. The Programming Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for the applications they support with their primary focus on day to day production support and new development to meet business or infrastructure enhancements. This position will also collaborate with their peers and business or support partners on problem-solving efforts and identifying efficiency opportunities.

Essential Functions

Take an innovative approach and utilize design expertise while providing thought leadership on solution design and long-term roadmap impacts

Assist as an IT liaison for server set up and maintenance

Assist on User Access Reviews and audits for App Codes supported in the department

Provide guidance on design and development specifications for technology solutions

Serve as mentor to other team members and assist in developing their technical support skillset

Serve as a Business and Systems liaison / consultant with internal business partners to design, develop and implement technical solutions to meet business needs

Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to provide efficient and innovate solutions

Document business and systems requirements, define scope and objectives, translate requirements into design specifications, and formulate systems to parallel overall business partner strategies

Provide ongoing support to business partners in resolving technical issues, maintenance, and system enhancements

Monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoot, and respond to user questions

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Intermediate knowledge or understanding of the following: SQL, VB, C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, HTML, Model-View-Controller, SharePoint, Business Objects or other Reporting Tools

Familiarity with Agile concepts and workflow or reporting tools such as TFS, Scrum works, or Workfront

Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently with limited oversight

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various levels of business partner leadership

Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish complex tasks

Ability to develop and deliver solutions that provide an increase in efficiency and accuracy

Ability to review current processes and provide improvements as part of the solution with minimal direction

Ability to review problems and provide solutions with a strategic mindset

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook  

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  IT related degree preferred.

6+ years experience in developing and supporting technical solutions required

1+ year experience leading and developing others preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $80,000 to $94,500 annually.
