TradeWinds features two destination resorts just 200 flip flops from one another along the gorgeous Gulf Coast on St. Pete Beach. As our Senior Programming Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate diverse recreational programs to enhance the guest experience. Responsible for planning and executing activities, the role involves managing staff, ensuring safety compliance, and engaging with guests to tailor programs to their preferences. The position also includes budget management, event coordination, and marketing to showcase and promote resort activities. Key qualifications preferred include 2+ years of relevant experience, retail experience, leadership skills, creativity in program development, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The Senior Programming Supervisor contributes significantly to the resort's success by creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. This is a key position and will require flexible availability including evenings, holidays and weekends. This position reports to the Recreation Manager.  Responsibilities Program Development:Plan diverse resort activities for all guests.Coordinate resort activities, poolside events, and beach games.Staff Management:Supervise and train recreation staff, ensure all SOPs are consistently followed, and assist with staff scheduling.Guest Engagement:Interact with guests to tailor programs to their preferences.Collect feedback for continuous improvement.Safety and Compliance:Enforce department and property safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.Equipment and Facility Management:Oversee equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness.Event Coordination:Plan group business events and collaborate with Convention Services for integration. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field. (preferred, not required) Experience: 2+ years in resort recreational program management, event planning or related field.Skills: Leadership, communication, guest service. Creativity: Innovative thinking for engaging activities.Customer Service: Commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.Dependable and dedicated work ethic. Must be comfortable working outdoors for 8 hours or more in Florida’s hot climate.
