Under minimal supervision, works with customers and other departments to translate requirements into business specifications. Facilitates efforts with customers and users across all departments and delivers concise business requirements to customers, users, and programming. Responsible for the project management of each system enhancement, managing the delivery from conception to implementation.
This position will have a salary range of $90,000-$115,000 based on experience and location.
What you'll be responsible for:
Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Prepares work-effort estimates and solution approaches.Lead Vendors or internal product groups through the project lifecycle of custom work engagements, including story creation, acceptance criteria, project proposals, and documenting features.Analyze business requirements, participate in the creation of Operational Agreements, and maintain project tracking across a broad range of internal integration efforts for complementary solutions.Provides technical consultation and support to third party Vendors or internal product groups, through support portals and the maintenance of documentation repositoriesUses a strong financial industry knowledge of Symitar, Quest, and PowerOn to define the functional requirements of any internal and external integration efforts and transpose them to specific work items.Perform analysis and reporting of KPI’sResponsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly, and may perform application, system and regression tests.Perform industry research to understand how product trends and market forces can impact integration approaches.Performs needs analysis to develop design specifications for projects. Defines the system and functional requirements of the product. Performs requirements gathering, project scoping and translates requirements into business specifications.Performs project management duties from feasibility analysis through implementation.Defines specifications and workflow models for product development.Coordinates the development, quality assurance and testing efforts to ensure conformance with design specifications and performance standards.Creates all requirements and business design documentation.Coordinates the creation of training support documentation and implementation plans.Serves as liaison between end users and development (technical and non-technical departments) during all phases of the product lifecyclePresents periodic project updates to senior management.May assist less experienced peers.May perform other job duties assigned.What you'll need to have:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the FinTech industry or a Financial InstitutionAble to interact with and communicate well with other technical associates.Strong knowledge of the financial industryThe ability to see “the big picture”, passionate about creating efficiency, and making connections between functions and features of various product solutions.Strong communication and customer interaction skills, along with excellent grammar and writing skills.Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple, demanding projects.Excellent leadership, organizational, decision-making, and analytical skills.Strong time-management and prioritization skills.What would be nice for you to have:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.A strong knowledge of the Symitar core software and other Jack Henry complementary solutions.Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation ofvariable factors.
