Arcadis seeks an Senior Project Architect to join its mixed-use team located in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a diverse and creative team dedicated to excellence in design and innovative problem solving, with technical experience, and a drive to succeed. The position is focused on leading a team to the successful delivery of mid-to-large scale mixed-use projects domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities
Initiates and manages documentation standards Comfortable working as a PA at the front end of a project (SD onwards) Leads development of drawings from schematic through to construction documents Ensures the technical integrity of documents using knowledge of applicable code and standards. Client and consultant facing during milestone page turns and coordination meetings. Collaborates with the design team to develop constructible solutions Performs analytical tasks independently Collaborates and coordinates with multiple consultants to ensure design and documentation meet project expectations QC/QA of documentation Mentors junior staff and helps inform technical solutions to design challengesQualifications
Job Requirements
Licensed Architect (California and/or Utah preferred) 15 years of Architecture experience 10+ years' experience in a Project Architect role Experience with medium to large scale, mixed-use projects (Renovation and Ground up) from Schematic Design through CA phases. Extensive experience with California agencies and the permit process, particularly for mixed-use (multifamily residential, hotel, office, retail) projects. LA City and incorporated cities within LA county experience preferred. Extensive experience with Type 1 through Type 3 construction practices Experience leading, generating and coordinating Construction Document QA proceduresAdditional Information

The salary range for these positions is $94,000 - 142,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
