Senior Project Engineer, NPI Supply Chain
Our Client, an Medical Device and Healthcare company, is looking for a Senior Project Engineer, NPI Supply Chain for their Plymouth, MN location. Responsibilities: + Support the NPI Supply Chain Manager on supply chain aspects of new product development program launches, + Collaborate with NPI Supply Chain Manager, Program Managers, R&D, Design Assurance, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory and other functional groups throughout the NPI process. + Partners with R&D to negotiate Design & Development Agreements and Statements of Work and partners with Strategic Sourcing to align on terms leading to commercial Supply Agreements. + Coordinate and collaborate with tactical procurement to operationalize procurement activities through development builds and commercialization. + Support the NPI Supply Chain Manager on partnering with the Planning leaders to ensure successful launch of new products. + Supports the NPI Supply Chain Manager with needed activities for successful launch of the NPI Program with activities including but not limited to part creation / setup in ERP system, change order dispositions, supplier delivery commit follow-ups, problem solving with suppliers, bill of material maintenance for new iteration of design releases etc. + Continuously improve the processes and metrics in which the NPI SC team operate. Requirements: + BS degree in Business or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering) or other technical degree with 5+ years working within a regulated industry + Progressively responsible experience in supply chain or manufacturing process engineering + Experience interacting with cross-functional projects and teams + Experience working in an ERP system such as SAP + Proficient in the development of presentations that effectively communicate analytic results, appropriate for multiple levels in the organization. + Able to influence stakeholder’s decision using robust data to support the recommended solution. + Must have a solid working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies + Masters' degree + Experience negotiating technical agreements with suppliers + Medical device manufacturing process engineering + Medical device design + Experience with New Product Introduction within medical device or related industry + Solid working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies Why Should You Apply? + Health Benefits + Referral Program + Excellent growth and advancement opportunities As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA provides an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or express, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability status, political affiliation, genetics, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
