Job Description

PCI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Indianapolis operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for the following:

 

Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program Requirements

Basic Requirements: 

Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in construction management is requiredBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Science or related discipline, or comparable work experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordA clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawingsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taughtCustomer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationshipsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskMotivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiativeWorks well under pressure and deadline

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with drywall, cleanroom, IMP and insulation is preferredOSHA CertificationWilling to travel/relocate based on project needsLocal to the Indianapolis metro area Benefits
