Job Description

PCI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Indianapolis operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for the following:

 

Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program Requirements

Minimum Requirements: 

Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in construction management is required.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Science or related discipline, or comparable work experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask.Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.Works well under pressure and deadline.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with drywall, cleanroom, IMP and insulation is preferred.OSHA Certification.Willing to travel/relocate based on project needs.Local to the Indianapolis metro area. Benefits
