Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.You will be mainly accountable for:1. Technical contributionMake detailed analyzer system (house, shelter, cabinet, and rack) design forthe projects in compliance with application project technical specifications,codes, and international standards related to analyzer systems.Be able to cover the design scope includes and not limited to:• Project technical specification review• Analyzer datasheet review and correction• Carry out calculation (Utility, Power, Heating Load, Sampling, Pump hydraulic,Probe, Phase Cal)• Make out detail project drawings (Sample System, Probe, Layout, Foundation,Power Distribution, Wiring, Fire & Gas Control, System PLC control,Network Topology, Network system cabinet)• Initiation of equipment technical specification (Structure, HVAC, PDB,SJB, Control Panel, Pump, Vessel, Cable)• Complete technical release of selected materials and consolidate projectbill of material.• Familiar with Ex equipment and certification process• Support client HAZOP team to generate HAZOP study• Complete Spare part list per project requirement• Complete Final documentation per project requirementHolds solid technical knowledge in the design of sample conditioning systems,analyzer technology, E&I, automation, and network system.Expert-level on analyzer system relevant engineering calculations, designreview of HVAC, fire & gas system, CEMS, sample line heat tracing system,sample auto validation system, liquid recovery system, IEC Ex / ATEX/NECexplosion-proof compliance, DAS/AMS.Act as design authority for the particular project and execute engineeringjob assignments using established solutions.Collaborates on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, clarifyingpotential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors.Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.2. Sales supportAssists in performing engineering review and analysis to support technical proposal team submitting solutions and cost optimization.3. Contract manage-mentSupports Project Manager in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost im-pact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.)4. CustomerInteracts with customers, contractors, suppliers.Be technical focal point to customers and lead all project technical meet-ings.5. People leadership and developmentLeads, supervises and coordinates project basis engineering team.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, automation engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of working experience in the engineering field with a proven track record of inter-national analyzer system projects Proficiency in verbal and written English Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools in Words, Excel and Powerpoint Skill with AutoCAD and Solidworks is an advantage Ability to work in a systematic and structured manner to ensure tasks are performed efficiently with minimal use of resources, time and effort
