The **Sr.** **Project engineer** will manage all aspects of an engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. **What You’ll Work On** + Absolutely! Here are the consolidated bullet points + Complete electrical engineering design, development, analysis, and debug for manufacturing equipment and product changes for i-STAT and Alinity. + Lead yield, CAPA, and complaint investigations for i-STAT 1 and Alinity to root cause and implement solutions. + Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements in Alinity and i-STAT 1 manufacturing processes. + Develop and implement design change packages, document change orders, and complete validation packages to support production and engineering. + Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project, including identifying, developing, and gathering resources. + Act as manufacturing representative for R&D-driven design changes and liaise with other operational areas to secure specialized resources. + Prepare engineering designs and work specifications, develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, and select materials, equipment, project staff, and contractors. + Conduct meetings, prepare reports to communicate project status, set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet targets and milestones. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent experience + 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in a regulated environment **Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:** www.abbottbenefits.com (http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx) * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
