Senior Project Engineer
Position Overview International is seeking a Senior Project Engineer. Step into a key role where you’ll provide technical and analytical support to Product Development Engineering, mentoring and guiding less experienced team members along the way. As a central resource, you’ll collaborate across design, process, manufacturing, testing, quality, and marketing to ensure seamless product movement from concept to distribution. Your expertise will drive impact throughout the entire product lifecycle, from exciting new modifications and upgrades to ensuring continued excellence in product maintenance Responsibilities + Solve complex issues by applying broad perspectives and functional knowledge to identify effective solutions. + Exercise sound judgment in selecting the best methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results. + Interpret business challenges, both internal and external, and recommend solutions or best practices. + Lead and execute highly complex or specialized projects, adapting established approaches when necessary to develop innovative solutions. + Serve as a recognized expert in your area of specialization, contributing deep knowledge within the organization. + Network and collaborate with key contacts both within and outside your area of expertise to drive solutions. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience + At least 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR + Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 6 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience + At least 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR + PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience + At least 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities Additional Requirements + Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
