Senior Project Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.•\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.•\tCoordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.•\tCoaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic or engineering.\t3 - 5 years of experience in similar roles.\tExperience working on low or medium voltage products. (Required)\tEngineering of self-supporting (electrical) switchgear for key clients.\tKnowledge of IEC or UL or similar.\tTools for electrical diagrams. (EPLAN, AutoCAD).\tExperience managing projects and negotiation skills.\tAdvanced level of English.
