THE ROLEThe Senior Project Manager, Operations role will provide support to the department by serving as a subject matter expert in project organizational setup and project startup by assisting Project Executives and Directors establishing project management protocol and procedures with clients and monitoring LPD organization progress throughout the project duration. The Senior Project Manager will also provide a support LPD leadership in providing administrative support to internal processes, procedures and initiatives as well as supporting project team assigned to client projects
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support LPD as a subject matter expert in project organization setup and management based on LPD established guidelines and protocols but adaptable to client requests and needs. This includes, but is not limited to: establishing project framework, drafting RFPs SOWs and SOPs, crafting schedules and deliverables based on project strategies, milestones and other specific client requirements. Role will also work directly with clients as projects come online as the LPD representative to help to help transition the project to fulltime LPD staff as required. Assist with standard PM responsibilities including budget setup and reviews, monthly reporting, schedule reviews, and risk registers, as necessary Support or assist LPD with specialty services that may include owner procured contracts, FF&E and F&B procurement, and facility reviews. Support LPD by collecting and analyzing data, identifying solutions and preparing/presenting reports and findings Provide support to LPD projects, project team members and clients, either remotely or on site, as necessary Report to Project Executives and Directors on status of projects involved in Communication with LPD team members, clients and project stakeholders regarding key project issues and updates as necessary. Monitor and document organizational progress throughout the duration of project(s) Report on quality of the work and manage resolution of all non-compliance items. Assist the Executive Team with other duties and special projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Building Construction, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred. 5+ years of experience as project engineer, project manager, project director, facility manager or construction administration representative for a municipality, major design, construction, program management firm, sports venue or public assembly facility. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, quickly establishing credibility with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Superior collaboration and organizational skills. Proficiency with technology including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other Project Management platforms such as Procore and Bluebeam Proficient in multiple storage filing systems including Dropbox and Sharepoint/Onedrive Ability to multi-task, and produce all deliverables in a timely manner. This position requires may require periodic heavy travel to project sites, and the ability to work effectively on the road and in fast-paced jobsite environments. Must be flexible to work non-traditional hours due to the accelerated nature of the projects. COMPENSATIONCompetitive salary range of $165,000 - $175,000 plus bonus potential commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
