We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Private Sector Group client growth and project demands. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of significant size and complexity, with full responsibility and authority for budget, schedule, contractual obligations/risk, and quality standardsNegotiate critical and controversial issues with top-level staff of other organizationsResponsible for several projects concurrentlySupervise teams with multiple engineering or professional disciplinesMake decisions and recommendation that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive business development, engineering and relative activities of the companyDemonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive engineering programs and activities demonstrating significant innovation and importanceInitiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other industry organizations, requiring skill in negotiation of critical issuesPrimary responsibility for preparing proposals, conducting interviews, and negotiating contracts with clients after selectionProactive marketing and business development including long-term client relationship building, project positioning, and development of Client Action Plans for long-term client serviceCollaborate with client management personnelManage internal staff mentoring, training, and reviewsIdentify the need for and direct vendors and subconsultants performing services on projectsParticipate in professional associations, including presentations of technical papers, member of technical committees, and officer of local or national organizationsRecruit new employees and participate in the selection processTravel required Qualifications Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical EngineeringRegistration as a Professional Engineer15+ years of water and wastewater project experience in the field of Environmental Consulting Engineering with an emphasis on hydraulics, physical, chemical and biological treatment processes and treatment plant design for water, wastewater, and reuseMust have demonstrated experience with managing small- to large-sized projects during the planning, design, and construction phases of water, wastewater, stormwater, and reuse infrastructure and treatment projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standardsFamiliar with a broad range of issues related to water, wastewater, stormwater and reuse systems, including master planning, conveyance, and treatment plant designStrong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamBusiness development, proposal, and interview experienceWorks well in a team environmentAbility to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraintsHighly motivated, articulate, and self-starting Preferred Qualifications Experience managing projects with technicians using Revit and/or AutoCAD including AutoCAD 3D for deliverables Pay Range$150,000 to $200,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
