Senior Project Manager

SUMMARY 

To provide overall leadership direction to one large project or multiple projects to include the management of project quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise the overall financial health of projects:

Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections. Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system. Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions. Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment.

Handle subcontracts and suppliers for the project:

Oversee budget for and make selections of subcontractors and suppliers. Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts.

Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s):

Provide job assignments and manage career development. Approve timecards for on-site team members. Provide training. Review work performance; determine rewards and/or performance management measures.

All other duties as assigned, including:

Maintain schedule and budget until project completion. Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team Members. Use the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project success. Collaborate with internal and external partners

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage

performance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Experience in Industrialized construction, prefabrication or off-site construction Innovation and Lean Design-Build project delivery Data Centers and/or Renewable Energy Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing scopes of work  Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel up to 100% Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended use Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience A minimum of eight years construction management or related experience Current driver’s license
