Overview TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country’s most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence. TRC desires to hire a Sr Project Manager will support the Industrial & Agriculture team with project management, data analysis, and reporting for programs such as FlexTech, On-site Energy Manager, C&I Carbon Challenge, and C&I Accelerated Efficiency Responsibilities Manage projects from initiation to completion, including scope development, schedule and budgets. Manage contractors and program support agreements. Resolve issues which may arise regarding assigned projects with applicants, contractors or consultants. Participate in video team meetings and collaborate across different program communication platforms. Support and develop tracking and reporting for new initiatives. Manage and develop relationships & increase coordination with key stakeholders. Support the development of PONs and RFPs. Make recommendations for improvements to NYSERDA’s strategies and business processes. Participate in the evaluation of program effectiveness. Coordinate with other departments to support projects and develop or refine strategies and processes. Perform advanced data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy development. Other duties as assigned to support key outcomes for the Industrial Team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, mathematics, natural or environmental science is preferred Energy-related technical knowledge of industrial sector. Strong project management skills and the ability to successfully multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to track contracts and manage budgets. Outstanding external and customer communications (written and verbal) skills. Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholder groups. Must be a self-starter and function well independently and in teams. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), especially Microsoft Excel. Analytical reasoning. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem solving. Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task; Comfort assessing technical documentation; Technical/process writing ability. Expertise in Excel and database management. Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
