At CESO, it is the role of a Senior Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver projects for multiple programs in accordance with client expectations. This includes but is not limited to managing the efforts of internal team members as well as third party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will define a project’s objectives, oversee quality control, and maintain responsibility for timelines and budgets. You will have primary responsibilities that include: Primary ResponsibilitiesDefine and establish project scope, schedule and budget for projects as well as maintain quality control over a project’s lifecycleOutline project objectives and timelines for completion and effectively communicate them to involved parties throughout projectIdentify and manage the project team/project managers and communicate project status and performance to executive leadershipLead the preparation of civil engineering project proposalsEstablish team composition and assign workload among project teamsServe as a primary point of contact with assigned clients through frequent communication methods and lead client meetingsElicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other internal departmentsResponsible for invoicing of clients and tracking accounts receivable on a monthly basisAct as a team resource on complex engineering issuesMonitor project progress to ensure adherence with contractual agreementsAssure project documentation and reporting are accurately maintainedOversee coordination with clients as well as outside agencies and consultants for procurement of sub-consultant needs and jurisdictional reviewsProvide resolution to client and project issuesDevelop and grow business relationships with existing client contactsMotivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment by providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional developmentOther project and supervisory duties as assignedPosition Requirements Bachelor degree or 20 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.15+ years of professional experience leading the management of projects Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Deltek, Newforma, and PaylocityExcellent communication and delegation skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage and mentor a team
