As a Senior Project Manager, you will plan and execute commercial, senior living and light industrial projects, from acquiring resources through coordinating efforts of the engineering/design team and obtaining permit approvals, managing the construction/ site contracting crews and the client. You will define project objectives, manage the schedule, oversee quality control and monitor the financial performance of each phase of the program, honing your skills as a business manager, communicator and client relationship builder. You will manage specific project accounts and seek to expand our footprint in those industry sectors. In addition, you will lead and mentor project managers, superintendents and staff to project success.
As a full-time Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:Primary ResponsibilitiesManage construction/site contracting crews and act as the main point of contact for clientsMonitor and maintain quality control throughout all phases of the projectLead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and staff towards successful project outcomesExpand business opportunities within commercial, senior living, and light industrial sectors by managing specific project accountsCoordinate with the engineering/design team and obtain necessary permit approvals for clientsPosition RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related equivalent experience and have applied their skills managing commercial projects, permitting processes, and managing project financialsBasic understanding of construction processes and terminologyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and construction management softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and schedulesAbility to travel and work extended hours, including evening and weekend, may be necessary depending on the project needs.
