Introduction to the job
As part of the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing several construction and renovation projects. These projects are typically complex, multidisciplinary, and highly technical, requiring expertise in facilities management and engineering problem-solving. Projects may have budgets of up to €100M and involve significant stakeholder management across various technical and non-technical functions.
Job Mission
The Senior Project Manager will create and maintain key project documents, including initiation, planning, progress, and closing reports, all tailored to ASML’s business requirements and Building Generation Process (BGP). This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, at the defined quality levels, and within budget, while maintaining safety standards. As part of the CRE Projects team, the Project Manager will also contribute to the continuous improvement of project management standards and methods.

• Operations and Maintenance (responsible for assets after commissioning)

Job Description
• Drive complex, multidisciplinary projects with a strong technical focus, following the CRE Building Generation Process (BGP).
• Collaborate with departments such as Business Partnership, Facilities & Maintenance (F&M), and REDS to align on customer needs, ensuring the right internal and external resources are engaged.
• Ensure business continuity for ASML’s production facilities by mitigating disruption during construction phases.
• Promote and maintain safe, healthy, and environmentally secure conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the development and refinement of the BGP process by incorporating lessons learned from project execution.
• Manage project financials, including budget tracking, reporting, and forecasting, ensuring adherence to ASML financial policies.
• Oversee project scope, quality standards, and progress, providing clear, concise reports and updates.
• Select and manage project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Facilities Management, or MEP Engineering.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience, particularly in managing large-scale construction and renovation projects within high-tech or technical environments.
• Experience in facilities management, with an understanding of technical engineering solutions and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Office, and familiarity with quality standards and legislation.
• Knowledge of LEAN methodologies, PMBoK, and Prince2 is advantageous.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and guide technical project decisions.

Context of the position
The CRE organization manages ASML’s infrastructure, utilities, and buildings through a lifecycle management approach. The Senior Project Manager will oversee several construction and renovation projects, ensuring that business needs, legal regulations, quality standards (such as sustainability and EHS), and financial controls are all met. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Real Estate for Wilton & US Field and works closely with internal departments such as Procurement, Finance, and Safety & Security.
