We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Project and Development Services team. Our team’s priorities are:

 Delivering strategic solutions for clientsActively collaborating across platformsApplying new technology and data to drive changeDeveloping our people and inspiring othersLeveraging broad network to drive growth

What this job involves

Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments from plan, design, construction and close–out

Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects 

Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, project logistical issues, budget and scope 

Generate, coordinate, interview and provide recommendations through established Vendor Request for Proposals (“RFPs”) processes. 

Interact and negotiate with Contractors and Subcontractors 

Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials 

Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path 

Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner 

Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services technology as required for assigned projects 

Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned 

Receive and evaluate contractors project bids and Change Order to level and approve and/or identify scope gaps and pricing errors 

Design and construction document review for scope validation and coordination 

Ability to track and coordinate with multiple organizations and individuals and effectively manage to ensure deliverables and or assignment is achieved

As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. Your priorities will lie in managing complex projects in various sectors, types and sizes. You will contribute to the development of project budgeting and scheduling and overseeing the strategy and execution through completion of construction. You will be focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities. Demonstrating initiative to adopt new technologies and develop efficient processes is key to the impact you will have in this role.

You are an individual who sees the big picture, acts decisively and focuses on creating an energized and collaborative environment. As a Senior Project Manager, you will contribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives and best practices to drive results as a team. Through cross-collaboration with multiple service lines you will provide the best products and services to clients. You will also contribute to developing successful, diverse teams through inclusive and thoughtful means of communication. Success will be measured by your ability to develop winning strategies for project execution.

Education and experience

BS or equivalent degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or other related fields 

Must have experience/skills in construction Project Management (architecture, general contracting, construction estimation, scheduling, engineering, design/permitting process, bid development, contract and/or sub-contract management) 

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management in building/development/construction industry. 

A relationship builder

Both verbal and written communication skills are vital, and, of course you’ll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.

Tech minded

The real estate and construction industries are consistently changing with technology. You’ll need to make technology work to your advantage. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.

An achiever

You’ll have a proven track record of results as we’ll expect you to act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Most importantly, you’ll want to contribute to a diverse, supportive, and talented team.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

120,000.00 – 175,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
