Job Description

Our Phoenix operation is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to support ongoing work. This position is an immediate hire and open due to growth.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.Prepare construction budgets per plans, specifications, and walking field conditions; identifying and projecting costs.Evaluate changes to contract by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.Maintain cost keys and price masters by updating information.Lead a team responsible for financial reporting.Manage personnel in-state and out-of-state.Actively build the division and work on bids/proposals.Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Transfer data from estimating software to client-required formats.Maintain quality service by following organization standards.Ensure continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in a leadership/project management roleA 2 or 4 year degree in a construction-related fieldExperience working on semiconductor, medical, or data center projectsProficient in ProCore or Viewpoint softwareProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience running a division or business segmentExperience building client relationshipsExperience in risk managementKnowledge of how contracts are written and contract languageKnowledge of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and how to track progressExperience communicating directly with clients and stakeholdersAble to build spreadsheets and use basic formulas in ExcelStrong oral and written communication skillsAble to work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency in Bluebeam or similar estimating softwareOSHA 30 certificationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial constructionExperience in semiconductor operationsExperience in change order managementExperience in estimationWork Environment

The candidate will work about 20% in the field and 80% in the office. They will primarily work out of an office located at Intel in Phoenix. All work will be local to Phoenix with no national or long-distance travel. The role involves working closely with the Southwest Regional Director and managing personnel directly under them.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $78.00
