Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of telecommunications industry practices and procedures but will be adept at analyzing data, identifying multiple solutions, and providing pros and cons with respect to business impact. This role involves performing various duties, understanding instructions and processes, following guidelines, methodologies, and precedents, and applying judgment as necessary.

Responsibilities

 

Analyze data and identify several different solutions, providing pros and cons for each with respect to business impact. Possess expertise to lead and deliver projects that are key to the company’s objectives. Ensure project execution complies with the approved methodology. Assemble project team from various departments and nurture internal and external relationships.  Resolve resource conflicts and priorities. Have direct accountabilities for all assigned project scopes and schedules. Manage large and complex projects concurrently. Identifies potential risks and establishes communications and mitigations to address them. Define project scope, goals, and objectives.  Create a process to ensure project success. Manage strategy, implementation, and optimization of partner relationships to maximize revenue and loyalty attainment and ensure partner commitment. Actively participate in partner performance management framework development and evaluations at project, partner, and program levels (weekly reviews, monthly reviews, QBRs). Monitor performance against plan and develop and execute strategies to address any underperforming partners and locations. Track, analyze, and communicate key metrics to help identify efficiency opportunities and measure the impact of existing partner programs, including creating and delivering executive presentations. Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4 years of related experience. Experience with multiple technologies such as Fiber, Ethernet, Internet, and Transport/Wave. Highly organized and detail oriented. Experienced with project management/coordination. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Excel (ability to sort, filter, calculate formulas, link worksheets, and knows keystroke shortcuts), with demonstrated skill in data gathering and analysis. Ability to communicate project needs to internal and external teams/members. Utilize a consultative approach and maintain strong working relationships across multiple departments; internal and external. Conduct meetings with stakeholders to determine objectives and execute on deliverables. Motivated self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced work environment. Strong ability to provide leadership/mentoring to other team members.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $110,000- $125,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
