Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Senior Project Manager located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides the Engineering leadership to a team focused on software development and network architectures, which may include internal and external resources and customers.Develops statement of work (SOW) for Battle Management Command and Control infrastructures, platform development and mission operations support.Works with customers and management to obtain approval. Identifies and manages changes to statement of work and assesses the impact of those changes and incorporates changes into statement of work.Negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics.Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.Assigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services.Generates proposal products so that they comply with the statement of work.Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned. Performs risk assessments, leads risk burn down plans and finds areas for opportunity gains.Identifies corrective actions to improve project or team performance.Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.14+ years of related work experience OR 12+ years of related work experience with a Masters OR 9+ with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Worked with Agile development.Experience mapping systems requirementsManaged project scopeExperience with program reportingSatellite mission operations

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 5: $140,250 - $189,750
