Job Title: Sr. Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Phoenix operation. This position is an immediate hire and has opened due to growth. The successful candidate will support ongoing work in the semiconductor industry and will play a key role in driving the division forward.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements and setting priorities.
+ Prepare construction budgets per plans, specifications, and walking field conditions by identifying and projecting costs.
+ Evaluate changes to contracts by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
+ Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials and identifying qualified subcontractors and negotiating prices.
+ Maintain cost keys and price masters by updating information.
+ Lead a team responsible for financial reporting.
+ Manage personnel both in-state and out-of-state.
+ Actively build the division and work on bids and proposals.
+ Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
+ Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
+ Transfer data from estimating software to client-required formats.
+ Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
+ Ensure continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
+ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Essential Skills
+ 8-15 years of experience in the construction field.
+ 5+ years of experience in a leadership/project management role.
+ A 2 or 4-year degree in a construction-related field.
+ Experience working on semiconductor, medical, or data center projects.
+ Proficient in ProCore or Viewpoint software.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Experience running a division or business segment of a company.
+ Experience building client relationships.
+ Experience in risk management.
+ Knowledge of contract writing and contract language.
+ Knowledge of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) including understanding production measures, tracking progress, and driving workforce.
+ Experience communicating directly with clients and stakeholders.
+ Ability to build spreadsheets and use basic formulas in Excel.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Proficiency in Bluebeam or similar estimating software.
+ OSHA 30 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in industrial, gas, or pharma backgrounds is a plus.
Work Environment
The candidate will work approximately 20% in the field and 80% in the office. The primary work location will be at our office within a semiconductor facility. The role requires up to 30% travel. The position qualifies for a monthly vehicle allowance. The successful candidate will be collaborating closely with the Southwest Regional Director and will have direct reports in multiple states, including Texas and Utah.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
