Senior Project Manager
Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the Transformation Office supporting the Client Journey: Onboarding Project Team. As part of the Transformation Office, this project is one of the top strategic initiatives for the firm, aimed at optimizing the overall client experience across all touchpoints. The role will initially focus on overseeing the legal and contract agreements workstream within the broader project, collaborating with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams, and driving process improvement efforts in a high-stakes, large-scale transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for process improvement which will align successfully in the organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving significant change at an industry-leading financial institution. **Job Title:** Senior Project Manager **Location:** Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid) **Contract:** 6-Months (extension possible) **Pay Range:** $76 - $82/hr W2 **What's the Job?** + Own and manage the legal and contract agreements initiative within the Client Journey Project, ensuring that project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met in alignment with the overall objectives of the firm. + Collaborate with senior executives, business leaders, legal teams, compliance, and IT stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Communicate regularly with executive stakeholders to provide updates, escalate risks, and gain alignment on key decisions. + Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the legal and contract initiatives, resolving issues and removing roadblocks to ensure timely and high-quality results. + Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory standards and firm-specific policies. Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation, approvals, and oversight for all contractual matters. + Champion change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, ensuring that teams and stakeholders embrace new processes, systems, and ways of working. + Proactively identify potential risks and issues, create mitigation plans, and escalate when necessary. Act as the escalation point for major issues and ensure timely resolution. + Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, risk logs, and project timelines. **What's Needed?** + 8+ years of experience in Project Management or Program Management in large, complex organizations. + Recent financial services or investment industry experience. + Proven track record of managing and executing large-scale transformation projects with executive stakeholders and senior leadership. + Strong proficiency in Jira and/or Rally to track project progress, manage deliverables, and maintain visibility of timelines and resource allocation. + Experience in leading process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma, using data and feedback to continuously refine processes and enhance experience. + Previous experience working in a PMO or Transformation Office. + Experience with Agile methodologies to project management, including sprint planning and retrospectives. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving significant change at an industry-leading financial institution. + Engage with executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams. + Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on optimizing client experiences. + Contribute to process improvements that impact the organization positively. + Be part of a strategic initiative that shapes the future of client onboarding processes.
