**About The Role:**
The State Nutrition Project Manager (PM) is a very key role responsible for managing all aspects of designated customer accounts in the areas of project and service delivery, under the direction of the Director of Professional Services. The PM works collaboratively with internal and client-facing technical and management staff. The PM drives the projects to ensure the timely delivery of quality software products, services, and documentation to our customers. The PM should have excellent organization, written, and communication skills, excellent client-facing experience, should be comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team, and is capable of successfully handling multiple concurrent assignments with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
**What** **You’ll** **Be Doing:**
+ Ensure software and service delivery are within budget and on schedule, while achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction.
+ Demonstrate leadership skills while mentoring/coaching Jr & Mid-level PMs.
+ Works closely with Business Analysts on shared assigned client projects to ensure competition of deliverables. Consults with Sales, Engineering Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Client throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Communicate with clarity and confidence with both internal and external customers to guide desired outcomes.
+ Provide transparent communications about project status and health to Management and Senior Leadership.
+ Prioritize work efforts based on contractual obligations and timeframes, organizational strategic plans, and resource availability.
+ Serve as an advisor and offer continuous guidance in the area of project execution, client relationship management, schedule management, budget management, resource management, and risk management.
+ Provide project management coordination and controls consistent with project and operational needs.
+ Manage projects with a "light" PMI approach.
+ Determine, as needed, new project management processes, templates, and tools to assist in continued process improvement and efficiencies.
+ Evaluate regulatory changes that may impact implemented software modules, existing customers, and the opportunity to expand our customer base.
+ Continuous development of leadership skills
+ Develop and cultivate relationships with key client contacts.
+ Manage large customer implementations in parallel with managing smaller customer accounts.
+ Develops project Plans consistent with Client Contract.
+ Assures client invoicing consistent with Client Contract.
+ Participate in the identification of sales opportunities and the management of change requests and enhancements by account.
+ Assist BA, as needed with the requirements gathering, conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and facilitate/organize training for clients, as needed.
+ Travel within the USA may be required (few trips maximum per year).
+ Create documentation as needed to ensure smooth project execution and client readiness.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
+ 8+ years of work experience managing software implementations ranging from small to enterprise size projects
+ Effectively applying and teaching generally accepted PMI or equivalent best practices
+ Proven to be highly motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to quickly learn the applications and execute with confidence within a fast-paced environment with little supervisory oversight.
+ Be results focused and effectively prioritize, determine when it’s needed to dive deep into a process or capability
+ Excellent customer-service/people skills

+ State Government Project experience a plus
