Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in electrical construction to oversee our commercial out-of-ground projects. This role involves managing multiple projects, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining clear communication with clients.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in purchasing major packages
+ Provide engineering and layout support
+ Schedule and monitor job progress with monthly cost-to-complete reports
+ Schedule manpower
+ Review and process submittals
+ Price and negotiate change orders
+ Act as Project Safety Administrator
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of electrical construction experience
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Commercial construction background
+ Project management
+ Construction management
+ Experience with electrical circuits and components
+ Blueprint reading
+ Estimation
+ Purchasing
+ Schedule management
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Excellent client communication skills
+ Ability to travel to project sites
+ Competency to run jobs ranging from $100K to $5 million
+ Ability to supervise and coordinate Union subcontractors
Work Environment
The office is located in Hillsborough, NJ with an attached electrical warehouse. You will have your own cubicle, phone, and laptop. The work environment includes a 90/10 office-to-site ratio with office hours from 7am to 5pm. The company offers bonus potential, low turnover rates, and a supportive family-owned atmosphere. Employees receive two weeks of paid vacation and paid Union holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $72.11/hr.
