In this position, you will work independently on a large program. The successful candidate will be a proactive, self-starter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, we would love to hear from you! **Your Key Responsibilities** + Coordinate the development of site and building logistics plans from Substantial Completion to Total Completion to ensure operations and construction activities can be implemented effectively and safely, including the movement of people, equipment, and materials and site access. + Develop and implement strategies to minimize disruption to hospital operations and maintain safety. Understand the impacts of logistics on hospital operations and construction activities. + Regularly update site and logistics plans to reflect changes in project scope, timelines, and requirements. Communicate updates effectively to relevant stakeholders. Utilize logistics expertise to ensure plans are accurate and effective. + Assist in planning and coordinating hospital operations during the redevelopment project. Coordinate the development of contingency plans to address potential disruptions to hospital services. Leverage logistics knowledge to create robust operational plans. + Maintain regular communication with Operational Readiness leadership team and provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones. + Identify potential risks related to operational and construction logistics and develop mitigation strategies. Apply logistics knowledge to anticipate and address potential issues. + Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. + Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and operational activities. Provide regular reports to project leadership and stakeholders on project status and performance. Use logistics expertise to ensure accurate and insightful reporting. **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Experience using project management and collaborative tools for effectively delivering projects + Knowledge of commercial and contractual issues + Understanding of effective management of scope, schedule and quality of projects + Highly effective interpersonal communication and negotiation skills and people management ability with clients, staff, and colleagues + Demonstrated knowledge of, and support of mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and a code of ethical behavior + Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite + Ability to make sound business decisions, and identify, assess, evaluate, and solve complex problems. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to travel regularly as well as commuting to local project sites **Education and Experience** + Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline. + Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing and/or coordinating projects. + Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred. + Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
