We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our FL Team as a Senior Project Manager based out of our Tampa, FL office.

This Senior Project Manager will assist the Florida Department of Transportation District 7 and AtkinsRéalis General Engineering Consultant (GEC) team as they perform routine engineering assignments. You will utilize your experience to assist with design plans, specifications, and estimates, when needed, to ensure the project deliverables meet FDOT requirements. You may also support other FDOT clients and contracts. It’s an exciting time at AtkinsRéalis! We are rapidly growing in the US.

How will you contribute to the team?

Assignments have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables.Provide on-call service to FDOT District 7 and other clients as needed.Reviews designs plans and drawings on behalf of FDOT.Organizes and conducts engineering investigations as needed.Provides engineering services during construction activities by reviewing shop drawings for conformance with specifications; prepares records and progress reports defining construction progress; observes construction procedures under the guidance of a more experienced professional and evaluates the results from quality control testing.Researches feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory agency specifications.Contributes to the development of specifications and permit applications and writes miscellaneous reports.Prepares preliminary staff-hour, cost and material quantity estimates.Participates in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, and/or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others.Coordinates with other disciplines as required.Preforms field observations of construction, where appropriate.

What will you contribute?

B.S. / M.S. in Civil Engineering.15+ years of relevant experience within transportation engineeringPE License PreferredProven technical writing and communication skills.Experience with complex roadway projects required.DOT experience required.Performs work which involves conventional type of plans, investigations, surveys, structure or equipment, to carry out diversified engineering projects or phases of a single project with relatively few complex features and requiring the use of analysis, interpretation, and deductive reasoning.
