Senior Project Manager
Position Description:

The ePMO Program/Project Manager works with the Executive/Business sponsor to successfully implement new capabilities and business, IT, and operational processes by delivering enterprise-wide projects and project management services.

This individual will use effective project management principles and methodologies for an individual project or a portfolio of projects through effective planning, coordination, tracking and delivery of projects related to organizational strategic roles. The ePMO PM would liaison with diverse stakeholders across business and technology domains to ensure the integrity and success of the project, and at the same time build and maintain strong partnerships across various departments in the organization.

This is a Full Time Employment opportunity based in the US where there is a CGI Office. Preferred locations are: Boston, MA, Lafayette, LA and Knoxville, TN in a Hybrid Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage all the phases of the program/project management life cycle including but not limited to budgeting / financial management and external vendor management driving successful execution of the project through high quality product and service delivery.
• Responsible for implementation of tools and methodologies that are used by the delivery teams to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk and resource tracking for both Agile and/or Waterfall projects utilizing change management for tracking changes to scope, duration and budget.
• Organize teams across business and technology, facilitate communication between cross functional teams and develop professional relationships to communicate through all levels from individual contributors to IT/Business leadership.
• Identify, evaluate and escalate risks / issues and challenges through the appropriate organization chain of command along with proposed mitigations and strategies.
• Coach and mentor fellow project coordinators / project managers and effectively lead in a matrix environment. This would include proactive identification of conflicts and their management.
• Ability to influence project sponsor, owner, project teams and extended stakeholders and provide thought leadership and successfully drive the organizational initiatives to closure.
• Instrumental in effectively managing challenging dynamics to effectively reach positive outcomes by leveraging outstanding verbal and written skills.
• Facilitate joint application planning and review sessions to ensure that the teams are aligned with the identified scope and eventually mobilize the teams for desired outcomes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10-15 years of project management experience.
• Prior Heath Care Payor business and/or health insurance operations experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in process management.
• Proven Risk Management experience; ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience with CQI, TQM, PDCA, PMBOK, or other formal improvement techniques.
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines with successful outcomes.
• Experience interacting and presenting weekly to leadership (VP, SVP, CXO),

Desired skills:
• Experience with Affordability of Care (AOC) and Total Cost of Care (TCOC) desired

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $185,800.00.
