About this role:

The successful Sr. Project Manager is an individual with global experience in most or multiple aspects of the electrical construction industry including but not limited to commercial, medical, tenant improvement, industrial, government, and critical power. This individual will be responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. The successful candidate will also oversee monthly financial projections, creation of job specific schedule of values which maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong organizational, negotiation, financial, and communication skills.

What You'll Do

Needs assessment: Identifying business needs and evaluating potential software solutions to address them. 

 

Tool selection: Researching and comparing different software options based on features, pricing, and compatibility. 

 

Implementation planning: Developing a detailed plan for rolling out new tools, including training schedules, user adoption strategies, and change management processes. 

 

Business acumen:

Effectively supervises a staff in the day-to-day administration of a projectResponsible for all financial reporting, tracking and projection of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes for each project assignedManage Superintendent/CAD construction drawings to insure appropriate installationCreate and maintain a complete project budget using Superintendent construction drawingsMonthly financial projections for each project assignedCreate a project specific schedule of values that will maintain positive cash flowMonthly progress billing for each project assignedCreate, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire projectMaintain all submittal, drawing, correspondence, and change logsSubmit, review for added cost, file, and log all RFI’sPrice, budget, track, sell, and collect all proposed changesPurchase all materials per Prism SOPPrepare, organize, and manage material buyoutsSchedule and track all material releasesCoordinate with a Superintendent as neededActively assist project Superintendent and project team with all miscellaneous issues as necessary. (Material, information, special items, constructability, etc.)Set up all cost codes and production tracking with SuperintendentAssist Superintendent in production tracking and analysisWeekly jobsite visits and attend all jobsite meetings as requiredPrepare all outgoing correspondence as neededProject schedule analysis. Issue notices and alerts as requiredEffectively partner with jobsite SuperintendentOrganize and submit job closeout documentation. (As-builts, O&M’s)Possess estimating, pre-construction, and design-build experienceAbility to manage and assemble an efficient project staff for a large project or multiple projects with Project Managers, Project Engineers, CAD/BIM and Administrative AssistantsCreates a positive teamwork environment for all employees associated with our projects including General Contractors, Owners, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors and VendorsMentors and trains up and coming employees and assist them in accomplishing their goals and career objectives for future advancement within the firmUnderstands that the position requires you to look after the company’s best interest financially, diplomatically, and as aggressively as required to maximize profits and protect those interestsAlways maintains a positive attitude and composure, even in adversarial conditions

 

Project management: Overseeing the implementation process, ensuring timelines are met, and addressing any issues that arise. Ability to collaborate and partner with stakeholders across the organization.

 

User training: Providing comprehensive training to employees on how to use new tools effectively. 

 

Data migration: Managing the transfer of data from existing systems to the new software platform. 

 

Monitoring and optimization: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to tool usage and adjusting as needed.
