The Opportunity 

Lead a team of passionate subject matter experts in delivering integration and assurance management services for a major airport. The purpose of this role is to champion the implementation of these services through the team.  

This will involve leading, directing, motivating and coordinating activities of a multidisciplinary project team where you will conduct system integration assurance management through design and implementation in the field, applying system engineering methods and techniques. Using your excellent communication skills you will have the ability to manage challenging stakeholders in a dynamic environment combined with the ability to problem-solve effectively. This project is the first in a portfolio at the airport, allowing experiences and high-value relationships to carry over to longer-term opportunities at Arup. 

Is this role right for you? 
 
To ensure that Arup can continue to deliver top-quality work, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Preferably 15 years of experience with delivery and setting to work airport pier and terminal building projects, with complex multi-system environments, but at least 10 years is required. A minimum of 10 years in an engineering and commissioning role, able to apply formal methods to testing & commissioning of systems. You will have broad systems knowledge including Data Networks and Communication systems (data, radio, WiFi etc), Security Systems (access control, CCTV etc), Airport Operational Systems (pier, terminal, etc.) and Building systems (control & monitoring, public address) Extensive experience within Systems Integration & Assurance Management, including Requirements management, Scope management, Interface management Configuration management and Testing & Commissioning management. You can communicate regarding technical and process matters with technical management levels of multiple suppliers.  University degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or a relevant, directly related discipline, or equivalent. Preferably European Engineer (Eur Ing), Chartered Engineer (UK) or Professional Engineer (US) accredited. IPMA- (level B), APM, PMI or Prince 2- qualified, or equivalent. Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
