The Senior Project Manager in the Automation, Digital, and Learning Solutions (AD&L) business is responsible for multiple related projects in the AD&L portfolio to deliver several software lifecycle management programs using Cytiva’s Product Lifecycle Process (PLP) and Product Sustainment for the AD&L business. You will work closely with members of the AD&L Operational Excellence PMO team, AD&L leaders, internal teams including product management, and vendors to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close the projects that are assigned to you. You will be expected to learn and follow the appropriate Cytiva processes and utilize the standardized tools provided. This role requires you to have knowledge of best practices and how your area integrates with others. To have conceptual and practical expertise in project management and basic knowledge of related disciplines. To use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services – and to be able to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective using existing solutions. To work independently with minimal guidance and to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. The AD&L portfolio consists of multiple projects which are executed in a cross-functional global environment across North America, Europe, and Asia. This role is offered onsite at one of the preferred locations. Preferred locations for onsite will be Uppsala, Sweden, Portsmouth, UK, and Marlborough, MA USA. What you’ll do + Responsible for the development, tracking, and management of project scope, schedule, costs, global resource plans, issues and risks, as well as maintaining project and product quality for projects assigned. + Develop, forecast, and manage project financial budgets on a regular basis. Engage with global team members, internal teams, and vendors – providing guidance as required. + Ensure successful project integration management in AD&L, plan and monitor stakeholder management, provide clear and transparent project reporting for various audiences, lead reviews and seek approvals from identified stakeholders, and deliver effective communications on project activities. + Lead the coordination of testing and verification of software components; as well as Prioritize On Time To Market (OTTM), On Time Delivery or On Target Delivery (OTD) determined by the product launch requirements in the project plan. + Participate in and/or lead Continuous Improvement activities and stay up to date with current trends in project management methodologies and tools. Who you are + University degree with several years of relevant Project Management experience within the Biotechnology or Life Sciences sectors, and/or Project Management experience leading multiple engineering discipline teams. + Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills; including excellent oral and written communications skills. + Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and enjoys teamwork. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements + Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of time. + Valid work permit for Sweden, United Kingdom, or United States. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification is preferred but not required. + Understanding and experience with cGMP change control systems and GxP is preferred but not required.
