Senior Project Manager (Data Engineering) - Local to Chicago
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking and managing project work, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving project success through effective communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Meeting Facilitation: Conduct monthly reviews and biweekly sessions with a clear agenda to drive project progress.
Tool Utilization: Proficient in using Azure DevOps (ADO), Confluence, and generative AI tools to manage project documentation and workflows.
Presentation and Communication: Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Task Management: Drive tasks to completion, ensuring all project activities are on track.
Agile Methodology: Implement Scrum Agile practices, including daily standups, to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Front-End Focus: Collaborate with the business to create requirements and use cases, particularly for front-end development projects.
Proof of Concept: Develop use cases and manage proof of concept initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure project requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
Meeting Leadership: Lead and drive meetings with strong communication and organizational skills.
