ChristianaCare is searching for a Senior Project Manager to lead high-priority, complex HR projects that impact the greater organization. This role is responsible for managing projects from original concept through final implementation. The Senior Project Manager will play a lead role in the resource allocation and operational improvement of the Human Resources function. This position will also collaborates with HR team members and interface with all areas impacted by the project, including key leaders, stakeholders, and vendors throughout the project life cycle.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Manages multiple projects while monitoring and reporting status to HR leaders.Leads project teams from design implementation to completion including document current state, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead implementation ensuring that all goals and objectives are met throughout the process.Acts as a strong leader/facilitator in the development and implementation of work processes, identifying, sharing, and making recommendations to create and implement operational best practices within the department. Includes follow-up and tracking processes to ensure expected outcomes are achieved.Coordinate successful completion of project deliverables, identify risks and problems, build mitigation plans and solutions, and support the implementation of changes and solutions for HR initiatives impacting different functions and processes.Assesses audience and determines appropriate level of information to be communicated in project updates.Effectively and efficiently influences processes, redesign, outcomes, and behaviors to complete assignments in a timely and quality focused manner.Plans work to be done in concert with the needs of CCHS and HR departmental leadership.Clearly defines opportunities and purpose of projects.Collaborates with stakeholders to scope and direct projects.Develops, maintains and revises work plans.Identifies tasks and assigns resources and manages project plans to successfully complete tasks to meet agreed upon deadlines.Clearly delineates task predecessors, critical path, and required resources to ensure smooth project progress.Collaborates with Shared Services for all system requirements gathering for portfolio projects.All other duties as required.Education and experience requirements:
