Overview The Global Total Rewards organization for Gallagher encompasses functional teams supporting Compensation Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Variable Comp, Divisional Comp, Executive Comp, Equity and Mobility. Gallagher has grown through significant M&A activity and also has a high level of complexity in the Global Total Rewards environment for systems and processes. As a result, the Global Total Rewards team is looking to support this growth and complexity while bringing more transparency, consistency and standardization in project implementations in support of the business. We are in search of an authority Senior Global Total Rewards Project Manager to focus initially on Global Payroll projects as part of a Project Management Organization (PMO) being established. Additionally, this individual will have the ability to contribute to an increase in Global Total Rewards project management competency levels. In support of the Global Payroll team, the Senior Project Manager, focused in Global Total Rewards/Payroll is responsible for the project management of all global payroll projects. They will work closely with regional payroll managers in identifying and delivering on process improvement opportunities at a local/region/global level. This individual will also serve as a functional liaison to Gallagher’s internal HRIS and project governance teams to define technical processes and document procedures. How you'll make an impact Responsible for the initiation, coordination, and successful completion of multiple, parallel projects across the payroll department. Facilitates the definition of project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management, involving all relevant stakeholders. Collaborates with HRIS teams to develop project management timelines and deliverables. Leads functional team participation in technical initiatives. Builds and maintains strong relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Facilitates the estimation and allocation of resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Develops and presents full-scale project plans with assigned resources and associated communications documents. Ensures project status is proactively handled, monitored and appropriately communicated to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to keep stakeholders apprised as changes occur. Handles stakeholder expectations and facilitates solutions to challenges to maintain customer satisfaction. Coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are satisfied and needed UAT documentation is produced. Develops, facilitates and delivers comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, proposals, requirements and presentation for team and for executive management. Conducts project post-mortems and drives continuous improvement efforts. Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management. Leads efforts to standardize practices and consolidate tracking methods across all projects and provides meaningful contribution to the Project Management Office. Works closely with Regional Payroll Managers in identifying payroll process improvement opportunities. Drives execution of all prioritized process improvement initiatives – coordinating with HRIS as needed to develop and present Change Requests. Represent Global Payroll from a project management perspective on all M&A activity. Works with Global Payroll team throughout the RFP process to drive the best vendor selection in support of global and regional payroll processing optimization. About You Required: Bachelor's Degree; Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Functional Project Manager PMO role, with an emphasis in Total Rewards. Proficiency in PMO methodologies. PMP Certification Prior experience establishing PMO capabilities in an organization and aligning stakeholders to best practices in project management. Prior experience with HRIS and data administration project lifecycles. Solid knowledge of HRIS system design. Proficient in MS Office suite of applications. Ability to collaborate on and manage complex, multi-team projects. Highly Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. PMP Certification Bilingual in Spanish Prior experience with HRIS and data administration project lifecycles with strong knowledge of HRIS system design. Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar Working knowledge of business activities and objectives of functional teams within HR (Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, etc.). Experience working in a business environment undergoing significant change or growth.
