Senior Project Manager (Programme Manager) (Contract) (CPT)

They are looking for a Senior Project Manager (Programme Manager) to lead several large-scale ICT initiatives, including providing broadband connectivity to over 2,000 Western Cape Government (WCG) buildings, implementing VOIP connectivity for more than 20,000 users (across three contact centers), and delivering public Wi-Fi to around 500,000 citizens per month across 1,600 sites. This role will involve comprehensive programme planning, risk management, stakeholder collaboration, quality assurance, and reporting.   DUTIES: Manage and oversee multiple large-scale connectivity projects. Develop, implement, and monitor programme plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Manage project risks, budgeting, and stakeholder expectations. Conduct regular progress reporting and performance reviews. Ensure quality control and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Provide leadership and direction to project teams and stakeholders.     REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements: Experience: Minimum 7 years of management experience in broadband, VOIP, and public Wi-Fi projects. Education: At least one tertiary qualification or certification at NQF Level 7 or higher relevant to the role (e.g., Project Management, ICT, Business Administration).   Skills: Strong numeric and analytical skills for budgeting and billing. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong leadership and risk management abilities.  Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, PMP, Prince2, etc.).
