About the Job

Red Hat Experience Engineering (XE) is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our growing AI & Data team. In this role, you will serve as the project owner for a portfolio of AI Solutions delivered within our internal and customer-facing Support functions. You will engage stakeholders with communications, organize and share roadmaps and other content, and drive the program’s strategy forward in alignment with our team of Portfolio Leads and Business Analysts. This position will work closely with our engineering and data teams to guide both new AI solutions and maintenance of existing implementations, and will also work cross-functionally with business owners, leaders, and user groups within our organization and across Red Hat. This role would ideally suit a person with exceptional analytical, business, technical and communication skills. We are looking for a project manager with a firm grasp of agile software development best practices able to drive multiple projects to completion simultaneously while tracking many details across multiple teams.

What you will do

Serve as the project owner for a portfolio of AI Solutions, partnering with a Portfolio Lead and Business Analyst

Build and maintain roadmaps and other artifacts for team and stakeholder alignment

Collaborate regularly with business and engineering teams to ensure alignment on roadmap, priorities, technical debt, requirements and acceptance criteria

Connect with the our engineering team in regular scrum, grooming and planning meetings

Together with the Portfolio Lead, lead sprint demos and deliver release notes, updates and other communications to stakeholders and end users

Coordinate within XE regarding requirements and releases to ensure documentation, training and other deliverables are in place at time of release

Represent XE AI and Data and collaborate with teams across Red Hat on both one-time and ongoing projects to connect data and workflows

Support XE strategy and key metrics with our Data team by ensuring success measures are clear and in place before release in order to measure our impacts

What you will bring

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of experience in Agile technical product management in software companies

Ability to apply multiple feedback techniques to incorporate user feedback and measure success

Experience working within a complex enterprise data ecosystem and tools

Experience with analytics model lifecycle, DevOps, and AIOps best practices

Knowledge of Red Hat products and open source practices

Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents

Solid facilitation and influence capabilities, including the ability to drive action and accountability outside of a direct reporting relationship

Following is considered a plus

Experience leading cross-functional initiatives

Effective critical thinking to help navigate ambiguously defined business problems

The salary range for this position is $111,260.00 - $183,580.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
