Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Transportation Planning/Traffic practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA)!

Responsibilities Has an entrepreneurial spirit, creating a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of our transportation engineering practice in the local area and beyondAssists in marketing and business development efforts with our existing local municipal, state, and private clients, while delivering a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and/or ITS-related projects with our growing team of transportation professionalsBeyond serving our existing clients, has the ability to pursue own passions, leads, and clientsLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a Transportation/Traffic practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership Qualifications 12+ years of transportation planning, traffic engineering and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design experienceRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Track record of successfully winning and delivering work in the local areaEstablished relationships with local DOT, local agencies, and/or local municipalitiesDemonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably through agency specificationsExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skillsStrong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problemsAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitably Why Kimley-Horn?
