Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects. This role involves traveling to various project sites, ensuring that all phases of construction are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal construction, particularly with USACE and NAVFAC projects, and possess expertise in estimating, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage federal construction projects from inception to completion.Coordinate project planning, estimating, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.Manage subcontractor relationships and performance to meet project requirements.Implement cost control measures to achieve project budget goals.Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any issues.Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in federal construction.Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) projects.Strong knowledge of self-performed work and subcontractor management.Proficiency in project estimating, scheduling, and cost control techniques.Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to travel frequently to project sites across the country.
